I have been keeping track of everything we have seen in our yard since about 2001. If it is not on the list (unless it is an insect)…then I have not seen it in the yard…some have been close, like a fox I saw down the street, and a raccoon next door, and several bird species flying overhead like gulls and herons…but if it wasn’t in my yard, I did not include it. Also, I have not been in the habit of identifying most of the insect life…my list includes all the butterflies I have seen, but most of the insects, including moths, I have not listed here.
I also included a photo below of a very light colored squirrel. We must have some light squirrel genes around here, they aren’t albino, but there are always one or two that are very very light grey as you can see in the photo.
